An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Assistant to work in our orders department.  The department receives and processes several hundred orders daily.

Reporting directly to the Customer Services Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for sales order taking and data entry, customer support services and problem resolution.  We take all aspects of our service seriously and we need people who are willing to go the extra mile to provide exemplary service to our customers.

Skills & Experience:

- Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues
- Self-motivated with a positive ‘can-do‘ attitude to all tasks
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Team oriented and able to build good working relationships
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy along with good IT skills
- Great written and oral communication skills

Previous experience of an order processing or customer services role is essential.  Wine knowledge is not a pre-requisite but a willingness to learn is.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary range will be dependent on experience with the following:

Brand Manager

We are currently recruiting a Brand Manager to manage some of Liberty Wines’ most iconic and important producers in the UK and Ireland markets. This is a high profile and commercial role within our business, where the successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic growth of their portfolio of wineries in line with Liberty Wines’ business objectives. You will be the face of the brand both internally with key stakeholder departments and externally at tastings and brand events.

Working with sales, finance, customer services, shipping and buying, you will be involved in cross-functional projects and be a team player to develop new processes, delivering a better service to our customers.

Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 3 years brand management experience required - you will either be an experienced Assistant Brand Manager looking for their next challenge or currently operating at Brand Manager level.
- Italian language skills (at a fluent level) are essential with additional languages such as French or Spanish an advantage
- Good industry knowledge including routes to market of the on- and off-trade.
- WSET qualified (preferably Level 3 or above). A formal Marketing qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in supplier management working professionally with people of different cultures.
- Good knowledge of IT systems with an ability to pick things up quickly and find out answers.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to put together inspiring PowerPoint presentations.
- Must be comfortable and experienced working in a fast paced organisation with changing priorities. You will be flexible and positive with a can-do attitude.

Producer Relationship Manager

We are currently recruiting a Producer Relationship Manager to join our Buying team.  This role will be the main point of contact for selected suppliers in Liberty’s portfolio, working alongside the Wine Buyers and Sales team to build sales, with responsibility for the following:

i) Managing all supplier relations including:
- Assisting buyers with pricing requests and vintage allocations
- Depletions reporting to producers where required and management of sales expectations
- Liaising with the customer support team in managing producer visits with the aim to maximise commercial success

ii) Work with sales, customers and shipping in relation to producer activity:
- Communicating new products and stock issues
- Identifying available producer marketing activity: visits, POS, support for listings/promotions and identifying/highlighting commercial opportunities 

iii) Analysis/reporting including measurement of producer category and individual producer performance within Liberty Wines’ portfolio in UK and Ireland markets.

iv) Management of producer marketing activity/promotion and budgets

Skills & Experience:
- Experience in supplier management preferred
- Commercial acumen required with particular awareness of the different wine trade channels and their opportunities for sales
- French language skills (at a fluent level) are essential with additional languages such as Spanish or Italian an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Good IT skills specifically for reporting and analysis (Excel pivot tables)
- Excellent knowledge of wine, preferably with WSET Level 3 or above

Marketing Assistant

We are currently recruiting a Marketing Assistant to join our Customer Support team. This is a general Marketing Assistant role specifically with a focus on trip co-ordinating, point of sale/marketing materials and customer/sales support. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about the principles of marketing, PR and events and gain experience working directly with Liberty Wines’ producers and customers.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Assistant, the role will have responsibility for the following:

Trip Managing:
- Working with Brand Managers and Sales Managers to coordinate and execute various group trips to visit wine producers
- Running all trip logistics, itineraries, budgeting and producer liaison

Marketing Materials:
- Producing training and tasting booklets, educational materials
- Collecting and distributing wine information efficiently
- Managing individual marketing projects independently

Customer Wine Lists:
- Supporting the Designer in executing our Wine List design service for customers

Point of Sale:
- Supporting Warehouse & Shipping on stock management of physical POS
- Consulting with Brand Managers to source available POS options from suppliers for promotions and year-round customer requests

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Confident conversational Italian and French language skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of Adobe design software including InDesign and Photoshop
- High level of attention to detail as well as excellent English spelling/grammar
- Self-motivated, keen and flexible
- Strong team work ethic

Experience of or an interest in the wine industry is desirable.

Route Planner

An opportunity has arisen for a Route Planner to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team.  Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager, this role is responsible for the following:

Distribution:
- Route planning and analysis using Paragon route planning software
- Maximise van utilisation in order to exceed service levels and keep delivery costs within budget
- Plan daily and weekly vehicle requirements to ensure we maintain our high service standards
- Monitor driver performance and compliance through daily driver briefing and debriefings
- Review new delivery points to ensure we can meet service and safety requirements
- Review existing routes for efficiencies and suggest new routes where appropriate
- Ensure that all vans are loaded in a timely and accurate manner
- Report any delivery issues and stop them recurring
- Work with Customer Services, Sales, and Customers to eliminate service failures
- Manage maintenance of own vans and documentation of contract drivers
- Continuously improve our delivery service by improving efficiency or enhancing service
- Produce monthly management reports on delivery costs and van utilisation
- Assist with deliveries to customers when required

Warehouse:
- Process customer orders when required
- Picking and preparation of orders for despatch, including directly from our bond replenishment
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensure service standards are maintained, work processes are followed, and are continually monitored to be improved
- Process consignments for daily courier dispatches when required

People Management:
- Leading monthly driver meetings
- Coordinate the daily van distribution and assist in supervising the early morning warehouse function
- Manage employed and contract drivers, including planning vehicle requirements in advance
- Implement and manage service expectations for all drivers
- Implement continuous improvement ideas with distribution staff

Health & Safety:
- Work in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring that all staff, including van drivers, comply with Health and Safety requirements

Person Specification:
- Experienced in coordinating a distribution/delivery function and/or fleet management
- Experience of route planning software would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of London with an understanding of making and managing deliveries in London
- Computer literate with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Pro-active, and able to manage and plan own and others’ work
- Exceptional team worker with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the company

Hours:
- Monday to Friday 4.30am to 1.00pm with a willingness to work extra hours during peak periods
