An opportunity has arisen within our London Sales team for an ambitious individual with a determination to succeed to help strengthen our team and drive our success even further.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the most interesting, quality led wine portfolios in the UK.  The list ranges from internationally recognised producers to small regional specialists.   Critically awarded for our selection from Italy and Australia, the portfolio encompasses wines from all over the world.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities whilst seeking to grow sales with a number of existing Liberty Wines customers.

Applicants for this sales role ideally will have proven trade sales experience with a track record of developing sales amongst a variety of accounts.

Skills & Experience:

- An in-depth knowledge of London on-trade and off-trade is essential as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of customers
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with a proven track record of success
- An ability to meet sales targets is requisite for this role
- An ability to work within a team and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with a positive outlook and excellent communication skills
- Be able to demonstrate good wine knowledge, preferably at WSET Diploma level

Salary & Benefits:

Salary/package plus sales commission will be commensurate with experience, as well as:

Head of Brand Management

Working in a fast paced organisation with changing priorities, the Brand Management team manage some of Liberty Wines’ most iconic and important producers in the UK and Ireland markets.  

We are currently recruiting a Head of Brand Management – this is a new role where the successful candidate will have responsibility for the strategic direction of Brand Management within Liberty Wines as well as leadership and management of the Brand Management team.

Producer management is a key part of the role and the successful candidate will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of Liberty Wines’ key producers with the aim of maximising brand and commercial performance as well as regular analysis of sales to monitor progress and development of all key brands.

The role will work closely with Buying, Sales, Customer Business Support, Communications and Events to ensure effective commercial support, helping with key account pitches, promotion management and product information.

Skills & Experience:

- Strong strategic vision
- Experienced brand manager with in-depth knowledge of both the on-trade and off-trade
- Experienced producer liaison
- Excellent people skills and able to work effectively with other departments and producers
- An ability to communicate in one of French, Spanish and Italian is key to the role
- Excellent knowledge of wine, preferably with WSET Diploma or above
- Good knowledge of IT systems including Excel and ideally with NAV or similar software

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is dependent on experience with the following: 

- Personal bonus of up to 5% of salary based on performance against key objectives
