Charles is the Master...

Once again, Charles Heidsieck knocks spots off the competition, as The Drinks Business announced its 2013 Champagne Masters today.

Just four Champagnes won the highest accolade of ‘Master’ in its category, of which three were Charles Heidsieck!

Charles Heidsieck gained the only ‘Master’ in the Brut Non-vintage (Brut Réserve NV) and Prestige Cuvée (Blanc de Millénaires 1995) categories. The Brut Millésimé 2000 was also awarded a ‘Master’ in the Vintage category – with the only other ‘Master’ award going to sister House Piper Heidsieck for its Rare 2000 in the same category.

Charles Heidsieck was also the only producer entered into this year’s competition to take home not just one but two gold medals in the Rosé category, with one for Rosé Réserve NV and another for Rosé Millésimé 1999.

These accolades are in addition to the four trophies and eleven golds the range has won at previous international competitions this year and are yet more recognition for the team at Charles Heidsieck and their wines which are shown continually to be the best of the best.
