Four cities in four days as Liberty Wines hits the road
1st March, 2013
Phew, what a week it has been! Four portfolio tastings on four consecutive days in Bristol, Edinburgh, Dublin and Manchester, with more than 3,000 bottles opened and poured by over 30 representatives from wineries in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, England, Armenia, Chile, Argentina, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Among those present was Kevin Judd of Greywacke in Marlborough (who took the main photo above of the stunning Signet Library in Edinburgh) and Antonio Morescalchi, one of the owners of Altos Las Hormigas in Mendoza.
A huge thank you to all our guests from the trade and press who joined us over the four days. We have held an annual tasting in Edinburgh and Dublin since 2004, and both saw their biggest ever attendances this year. Their success led us to hold similar events in Bristol and Manchester for the first time, and the feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. We are delighted to be able to offer our customers outside London the opportunity to meet the producers and taste over 250 wines from across our portfolio, at a more convenient location.
