Complex and alluring, this offers aromas of mint, cherry and spice, with a vegetal note. On the palate, this sweet, intense and persistent, accented by liquorice and tobacco details. Firm and tight, with appealing harmony and length.

At the top of the tree is this sensual, luxurious Nebbiolo.  Unlike the oak-driven, drier styles of Barolo that build their flavours around a barbed wire core of tannin this wine is true to the Vajra mantra.  It is velvety, regal and heroic… This is a perfect example of a handmade wine which concentrates all of its energies around the quality of the fruit rather than the extraction or flamboyant carpentry.  This is my style of Barolo and I commend it to you.
