The Wine Gang

It's a dark and vividly coloured wine, with a fairly subdued nose. There's a hint of charcoal and of blackcurrant On the palate it is clean, dark-edged and liquoricy, medium-bodied and with something that hints at a sweeter, even jammy fruit quality.

Refreshing open-hearted style of wine, generous and soft, but never too ripe, with notes of cola and wet clay to its violet-scented berry flavours, and a refreshing minerally finish.

Earthy, smoky nose over cranberries, cassis and minerals.

Supple, fresh, pure and quite elegant with attractive mid-weight cherry and plum fruit, backed up by some grippy tannins. Very natural tasting and not at all spoofy, yet modern and fruit driven at the same time. There's an attractive sappy green edge with some grip on the finish, and I find it like a cross between ripe Pinot Noir and a fresh Grenache, with some subtle peppery notes. Very interesting wine and beautifully packageddelicious.

The nose has a strong red fruited influence sweet and ripe yet fragrant and this gives richness on the palate. Red cherry and wild strawberry is backed by bramble lots of complex flavours with towards the back a lovely exotic toasty and spiciness.

Smoky, silky elegance, soft mulberry-like fruit and wild earth notes are part of the wine's appeal.

A magnificent wine... It has a deep, dark colour, a menthol nose and multiple layers of flavour that run from blackcurrant and plum fruit through appealing cinnamon and vanilla influences to a warm chocolate finish. This is the perfect bottle for folk who think they have tried everything.

Cherry nose with sappy, fresh, red fruit flavours, very grippy tannins, peppery, spicy undertones a deep, dark, tightly packed wine.

This is serious, expensive and exceptionally tasty stuff, made from a local grape and aged in amphorae, the huge clay pots of antiquity An elegant and slightly exotic beauty.

There is nothing weird about this wine; it tastes fully ripe and beautifully structured - perhaps finishing just a little wild and suddenly but with great untamed flavours. Drink it while enjoying the stunning wild landscapes. Very appetising and enjoyable already.
