Lovely texture - firm but fair. Balanced, round, charming. Long, minty finish - very classic.

Dense black fruit, potent and opaque...bound to age very well.

'Best Cabernet Sauvignon'

Power and grace; loaded with sweet oak, the quality of fruit beneath is up to the task; layered cassis, redcurrant, cedar and violet bouquet; great concentration of fruit on the palate, with a refreshingly vibrant core of acid and pure fruit; lots of slippery fine-grained tannins that counterpoint the vibrant and complex fruit with ease; wonderfully long and satisfying.

Deep colour. Blackcurrant pastille/ blackberry/ mint/ herb garden aromas with some savoury/ nuances. Supple, almost juicy, blackcurrant pastille/ brambly flavours with fine slinky loose knit tannins and underlying savoury/ spicy oak. Finishes...long and flavourful.

Outstanding Category

The Tally, with its mulberry, blackberry, dark liquorice fruit, seductive richness, lacy structure and complex tannin flavours, epitomises a rigorous selection that captures the essence of a recognised vintage. It is only made when the growing season allows.
