National Off-Trade Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager with knowledge and experience of branded wine or drinks sales with one or more multiple grocers to join our friendly National Off-Trade team.  This role would suit a self-motivated individual with a customer-focused, commercial outlook.

Key responsibilities include:

- Management of designated accounts, responsible for account P&L, joint business plans, debt and account expenses
- Provide strategic direction for designated accounts and work closely with our brand management team to ensure sales direction is aligned with Liberty’s brand objectives
- Drive achievement of the budgeted team revenue, margin and overhead goals
- Create, implement and evaluate account plans to deliver agreed volume/spend/contribution targets
- Manage and understand customer business plans and objectives

- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with highly developed planning and organisational skills
- High level of numeracy

Full-time Evening Customer Services Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for an Evening Customer Services Assistant to work in our vibrant Customer Services department. This role is the first point of contact for our wide range of customers and is responsible for delivering the great service that Liberty Wines takes pride in.

Many of our customers take advantage of our overnight ordering service for London and our Warehouse and Customer Services teams facilitate managing, processing, and despatching those orders. 

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritising and processing emailed and answerphone orders throughout the evening. Working as part of a close-knit team, we need people who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure exemplary service to each and every customer.

Skills & Experience:

Reliable, conscientious with the ability to take ownership of issues
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Team oriented and able to build good working relationships
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy along with good IT skills

Previous experience of an order processing or customer services role is essential.  Wine knowledge is not essential but a willingness to learn is.

Hours of work will be 3pm to 11.30pm on Sunday to Thursday.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales with existing customers, delivering a highly professional standard of account management as well as developing new business opportunities.

Skills & Experience:

-
A minimum of 2 years’ experience with a track record of success and proven ability to meet sales targets
- An in-depth knowledge of the on-trade and off-trade is essential as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of customers
- Good organisational skills with the ability to deal with administrative tasks efficiently
- Self-motivated with a positive outlook and excellent communication skills
- Able to demonstrate good wine knowledge, preferably WSET Diploma level
- An ability to work within a team and meet deadlines
- Languages are not essential but would be an advantage
- IT proficient including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Sales Support Assistant

Are you a bright, ambitious wine lover with a great customer service ethic and good Excel knowledge who would like to work for the UK’s leading wine distribution company?  As 2018 International Wine Competition Wine Merchant of the Year, we are known for our excellent portfolio and our customer service but are also commended for our commitment to education and staff development.  All our staff are actively encouraged to take the Wine and Spirit Education Trust exams and continue their professional studies wherever possible.

Working in our Customer Business Support team, you would work with our sales team to research new business opportunities and run our monthly prospect meetings, create and develop bespoke reports, manage our customer contact database and assist senior members of the sales team with managing some of their key accounts.

Warehouse Supervisor (Early Morning Shift)

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution team. Reporting to our Route Planner, this role will have responsibility for the following:

People Management

-
Supervise the early morning picking operation including:

- Assisting with planning of staff rotas
- Ensure picking accuracy and efficiency
- Assisting with co-ordination of unloading and put away of daily replenishment stock
- Coordinating van loading

- Implement continuous improvement ideas with warehouse staff
- Assist in leading team meetings and briefings

Warehouse

-
Picking and preparation of orders for despatch
- Vehicle loading and unloading (hand ball and forklift)
- Liaison with Customer Services, and other internal departments, to ensure all queries/customer enquiries are resolved within service levels
- Ensuring service standards are maintained, work processes are followed, and are continually monitored to be improved
- Communicating issues for handover to the afternoon team

Health & Safety

Ensure the team works in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures

Skills & Experience:

Experience in supervising and motivating a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Pro-active, and able to manage and plan their own and others work
- Exceptional team work, and ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the company
- Articulated Fork Lift Licence desirable but not essential
- Computer literate

Hours:

- Monday to Friday 2.30am – 11.00am
- Possible variable shift pattern during the week with voluntary overtime during peak periods
