Our COVID-19 Health & Safety Plan

With the easing of lockdown measures in the UK we have been busy researching the safest way to fully reopen our office. We are working to all government guidelines and we’ll continue to put the health and safety of our staff and customers above all else.

Below we have summarised our plan. We'll update these procedures as things change and evolve. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, please feel free to contact us.


Social distancing

 

  • Floor markers to aid social distancing are in place throughout the office and warehouse

 

  • Staff attendance has been limited to allow ample space between desks/work areas

 

  • Arrival and departure times have been staggered

 

  • Meeting room capacity has been limited

 

  • Use of communal areas, eg kitchen, bathrooms, is being carefully managed

 

Sanitisation

 

  • The building underwent a thorough deep clean prior to reopening and has been sprayed with a disinfectant agent that coats all surfaces (including floors) for 30 days

 

  • The air-conditioning system has been serviced and the water system has been inspected and flushed through

 

  • Extra sanitisation of frequent contact spaces takes place throughout the day, including the kitchen and bathrooms

 

  • Sanitiser wipes are given to each employee to clean their desk area before use and at the end of each day

 

  • Sanitiser wipes are available to clean shared equipment after use

 

  • Hand sanitiser stations are located at the entrance and throughout the office

 

  • PPE waste bins have been provided for safe disposal

 

  • We are using cleaning products and protocols which are approved to effectively fight against viruses, bacteria and pathogens on all equipment and surfaces, and will continue to stay abreast of any developments in this area

 

Keeping our team safe

 

  • Our employees will receive detailed guidelines on COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols before returning to the office

 

  • Signage and instructions are on display in relevant areas with reminders on the guidelines and expectations for each area

 

  • Appropriate PPE will be provided to anyone who needs or wants it

 

  • Antibody tests have been offered to all staff

 

Deliveries

 

  • All drivers have been provided with a COVID-19 kit that consists of antibacterial wipes, antibacterial hand gel, gloves, a face mask and full hygiene guidelines

 

  • Drivers will ask where to leave the order, maintaining a 2-metre distance

 

  • We will not require a signature on PODs

 

  • We will enter the recipient’s name and write “CV” into the signature field to indicate the POD was signed by the driver on behalf of the customer
