Liberty Wines receives The Vintners’ Company Best Practice Award

We are delighted to have received the Best Practice Award at the inaugural 2020 Vintners' Company Awards, announced at an awards presentation lunch held at Vintners' Hall in London today.

Building on its history of supporting education and being instrumental in setting up both the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and The Institute of Masters of Wine, The Vintners' Company launched a series of awards in 2020 that "recognise the next generation of talent within the UK wine industry and are designed to celebrate the individuals and companies who have demonstrated commitment, innovation and leadership."

The Best Practice Award recognises the company that performed best against the following criteria:

- People (including recruitment, diversity, appraisals, training, mentoring, staff wellbeing and benefits)
- Sustainability and stewardship (demonstrating clear sustainability and strong stewardship practices)
- Innovation (for people or companies moving the wine industry forward in imaginative and forward-thinking ways)
