Firesteed farms just over 121 hectares of vineyard in Oregon's Willamette Valley and purchases the remainder of the grapes it requires from growers with whom it has long term contracts. Established in 1992, Firesteed is now owned by Vintage Wine Estates and is one of the leading producers in Oregon. All of the estate's vineyards, as well as those of their contracted growers, are L.I.V.E. (Low Input Viticulture and Enology) certified, a programme that along with biodynamic and organic standards, falls under the umbrella of Oregon Certified Sustainable viticulture and oenology.

The Firesteed wines are true to type, with forward and accessible character. By sourcing fruit from the cooler Willamette Valley sites and from the warmer climate of the Rogue Valley, the Oregon Pinot Gris blend combines delicate floral aromas with rich tropical fruit. The fresh acidity of the fruit from the north balances the ripe, full texture of the southern fruit. The grapes for the Pinot Noir are sourced from a number of regions in Oregon including the Willamette, Umpqua, Rogue and Walla Walla Valleys. Our best-seller from Firesteed, this Pinot Noir is lively and expressive with red berries and crisp acidity. It represents very good value for an Oregon Pinot Noir.
