Launched in 2015, The Liberty Wines Academy, is a modular training programme tailored to the individual needs of each customer.

Developed by our Head of Education, Clare Whitehead, specifically for on-trade staff new to wine service, this concise programme is designed to help all front-of-house staff boost their wine knowledge and, as a result, their sales. The one-day modular course covers:

  • How to taste
  • Wine list navigation
  • The art of good service and communication
  • Food and wine matching
  • Maximising sales

We also deliver ‘train the trainer’ sessions to support managers in coaching their own teams.
