Maison Aix, one of Provence’s leading producers and a champion of sustainability and site-specific winemaking, has appointed Liberty Wines as its UK agent.
Family-owned Maison Aix was founded in 2009 by Dutch entrepreneur Eric Kurver to realise his lifelong ambition to craft the world’s finest rosé. Certified organic and farmed biodynamically, the estate vineyard is a 75-hectare single plot planted with old vines on limestone-rich soils. It is not only one of the largest vineyards in the appellation but also one of the highest, lying at 500 metres' elevation behind the Montagne Sainte-Victoire.
Their renowned AIX Rosé Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence - a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault - is available in a broad range of formats, from half bottle through to 15L Nebuchadnezzar. The AIX White Coteaux d’Aix en Provence is a limited production blend of Rolle and Sauvignon Blanc that reflects their dedication to reviving Provence’s historic white winemaking traditions.
