Liberty Wines Apprentice
The Liberty Wines Apprentice scheme is a varied and challenging two-year programme, which includes experience of all aspects of life in one of the UK’s leading wine distributors. Since its launch in 2007, we have seen a phenomenal response to the scheme and some outstanding candidates.
Unique in the industry, our programme offers a detailed yet wide-ranging experience as well as funding for the WSET Level 4 Diploma and two vintages in the northern and southern hemisphere.
We are looking for someone with some knowledge and experience of the wine trade, who has passed WSET Level 2 with Distinction and is preferably also studying for or has attained Level 3. The ideal candidate would demonstrate the potential to become a first-class sales person.
Applications for the 2021-23 Liberty Wines Apprentice will open in summer 2021. Please check back for more information.

The programme runs for two years during which time the candidate will study for WSET Level 4 Diploma, funded by Liberty Wines.
It includes placements within customer services, marketing support, events, brand management and sales, as well as credit control, supply planning and distribution. During the first year, there is a month in Europe helping with the vintage followed by two months’ vintage in the southern hemisphere during the second year.
